Longshore Act (LHWCA)

Defense Base Act (DBA)

Federal workers' compensation (OWCP) claims for workers injured while working overseas as USAID workers or employed by U.S. based contractors such as Caliburn International, Caddell Construction Co., NVE Inc., Textron Systems, PAE Holding, IDS International, Nan Inc., DECO Security, and many more. We have represented clients who were injured working all over the world spanning several continents, including the folllowing countries: Paraguay, South Korea, Guam, Mexico, Syria, Greece, Zimbabwe, Micronesia, and more.

Nonappropriated Funds (NAFIA)

Federal workers' compensation (OWCP) claims for NAF workers. NAF workers are paid from a special fund called the Non-Appropriated Funds and Instrumentalities Act. NAF workers are employed across the U.S., often work at military Child Development centers, MWR facilities including pools/golf courses, base/post Exchange facilities (including Navy Exchange/PX/BX malls, gas stations, etc.), Leisure Travel Offices, military reservation beaches, military brand hotels, and more. Our clients have been employed at the Halekoa Hotel, Schofield PX, Bellows MWR, Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange, Mamala Bay Golf Course, and more.
